Total eclipse of the heart moon

Here's a tip: lunar photography is really hard without a tripod. And a moon filter. And a telescope. And a motor. Or maybe I'm just spoiled. I mean, people have been taking eclipse photos for thousands of years without all that stuff, right? Let's just say that none of the pictures capture quite how incredible it looked.

At 10:55pm, just as the eclipse was beginning.

At 11:16pm, when the eclipse was partial.

At 11:38pm, just before the eclipse was total.

At 12:10am, during the period of total eclipse.
